Overview
Terrametri turns a company’s operational data (utility bills, fuel cards, travel, waste, refrigerants and packaging specs) into two regulated outputs: a reconciled CSRD / ESRS E1 climate disclosure and a UK packaging EPR filing. Every figure is traceable to its source record, the exact emission-factor version and the person who signed it.
The challenge
Carbon and EPR numbers get filed and audited, yet most tools produce dashboard estimates built on spreadsheets, with no way to prove where a figure came from or stop a plausible-but-wrong number slipping through.
What we built
We built one data pipeline and calculation engine that enforces correctness: period-correct factors, reconciliations in code, a review queue instead of silent zeros, four-eyes attestation and an evidence chain an auditor can follow line by line. The result exports as XBRL for CSRD and as a Defra RPD file for EPR.

Full audit trail
Every figure traces to its calculation, source records and exact factor version, with actor and timestamp.
Four-eyes sign-off
Preparers can't sign, signers can't edit, and any later data change invalidates the signature.
XBRL output
XBRL instance validated against the ESRS taxonomy (Arelle), plus a content-hashed auditor evidence pack.
Fleet emissions layer
Owned, leased and grey fleet incl. PHEV/EV, fed from the client's fleet system without new data entry.
Nothing silently zero
Unresolvable records go to a review queue with a reason; empty scopes read 'not reported', never 0.
